This webinar is an introductory overview of basic disaster preparedness and response principles from the facility management viewpoint. This is not a presentation to review first aid or evacuation procedures but rather an informative and thought provoking, introduction level class introducing disaster preparedness integrated into the steps necessary to mitigate further damage from occurring. By using real life loss examples and integrating both missteps and success stories along with audience participation will ensure that all will come away with at least one good ‘take away.”

  • Learn how the basics of crisis management can be deployed to help facilitate the recovery stage and allay tenant fears. 
  • Recognize the importance of documentation to protect yourself and your organization and how best to achieve it.
  • Learn basic steps of mitigation when dealing with common losses such as water or smoke and even cleaning & disinfecting.
